I didn’t want the bouquet
I wanted the entire garden
the closer I moved toward nature
the quieter everything became
and in the quiet
I could finally hear myself again
when we tend to the garden we’ve been given
everything blooms in season
the most we trust our wild selves
the further we are able to venture
